Descafecol operates in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region with more than 30 years of industrial expertise. We run two value-adding plants: Colombia’s only decaffeination facility and a modern instant coffee plant. Working exclusively with 100% Colombian Arabica, we supply brands and manufacturers in 28+ countries with private-label solutions, co-packing services, and ingredients that keep the authentic flavor of Colombian coffee.

What we produce

• Spray-dried instant coffee – smooth, balanced, and aromatic. Enjoy hot or cold, in water or milk.
• Agglomerated instant coffee – intense flavor and aroma with sweet notes; instant convenience, Colombian character.
• COL® instant & microground – a delicate blend that preserves fragrance and the “fresh-brewed” sensory profile.
• Decaffeinated instant coffee – natural decaf with the same taste profile as regular instant, minus the caffeine.
• Torrado instant coffee – smooth cup with caramel notes, low acidity, and good body.
• Mixes & flavored coffees – Vanilla, Caramel, Amaretto, Mocha, Chai, cappuccino mixes, and 3-in-1.
• Coffee oil – concentrated aroma for food, cosmetics, and personal care.
• Coffee extract – natural coffee base with excellent solubility for food and beverage applications.
• Roast & ground coffee – premium Colombian profiles for retail and foodservice.

Natural decaffeination, at origin

Our natural EA process uses high-mountain spring water and ethyl acetate (EA) from sugar cane, a compound naturally found in coffee, fruits, and vegetables. The gentle water-EA contact removes caffeine up to 99.9%, preserves the bean’s structure, and protects its flavor. Clients can evaluate quality before and after decaffeination; our decaf receives 85+ SCAA points. Because caffeine is removed, the coffee can be enjoyed all day—even by pregnant and breastfeeding women.
