Description

La Palma isn’t just a farm—it’s a cultural coffee classroom. Located minutes from Calarcá, the site blends coffee production with interactive exhibits on Colombian rural life.

It’s ideal for families and international visitors seeking a playful and enriching experience.
The tour begins with a traditional welcome drink and a dress-up session—guests can wear the traditional ruana, sombrero aguadeño, and carry a wooden basket like real coffee pickers.

Guided in Spanish or English, the route includes hands-on activities like bean picking, washing, fermenting, and drying.
There’s also a small coffee museum, a kids’ play zone, and a shop offering roasted beans, ceramics, and organic jams made on-site.

ITINERARY: We will pick you up in Finlandia in a jeep or a pickup truck, then we will go to the coffee farm located in La Palmera, where we will welcome you with a typical mountain coffee while we tell you about the history, trade and tradition of coffee culture. Next, we will go through all the COFFEE processes: seedbed, seedbeds, pests, harvest, grain collection, pulping, fermentation and types of drying. Finally, we will provide you with hydration (water or national beer) and you will make your own hand-made coffee, which you will enjoy as soon as you finish it, to finally transfer to Finlandia, where this incredible coffee experience will end.
